Smart Start is not so Smart!!!
I purchased a vehicle from Dodge in Red deer on May 31, I needed smart start services from an impaired from [2013]. June 9th, I had to drive to drive to Excelsior Auto Service, for Installation of a Blow box, 21km after I left this shop my front drivers side tire came of doing 104 km per hour.
My truck ended up in Lethbridge at Car Star till JULY 27TH at 5 pm!!!! My lug nuts came loose on front drivers side again, had to pull over every half hour to tighten them, I had a very nice gentleman meet me and Canadian tire in high river that was off the clock at 730 pm to help me, and said lugnuts were quite loose and advised me to keep retorquing, and get my tires checked when I reached my destination. Car Star did not put a new rim on my truck instead they put in on the back passenger side, and not the side it was supposed to be on. After I left Lethbridge my blow box started major screwing up on highway 2, had to call smart start at 10:27 pm, blow box would not stop going off sat on side of highway till 1130 pm, between the tire and blow box I didnt make it to my destination till 2 am, a 4-hour drive ended up being 9 hours long.
These issues were MAJOR SATEFTY CONCERNS, NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF BUT OTHERS AS WELL ON THE ROAD. I talked to Smart start over 2 hours from 9 this morning JULY 28th. My vehicle needs to go to a shop to get the tires looked at to get fuel and a hour drive to a smart start location they will not be reasonable and help me! The only way they will override this system is you are not able to turn ignition off or on!!!!
THE MECHANIC AND TIRE PERON ARE NOT GOING TO PUT A VECHILE ON A HOIST WITH A RUNNING VECHILE OR FUELING UP!!! I THINK THEY JUST EXPECT ME TO DRIVE ANOTHER HOUR AND PUT LIVES IN JEPORDY!!!THIS IS VERY VERY SAD!!!!
Preferred solution: SOMEONE TO DRIVE TO MY HOME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM SO I CAN GET MY VECHILE TO A TIRE SHOP WITHOUT ENDAGERING MY LIFE AND OTHERS!!!!

My interlock malfunctioned when we got cold weather an was gonna lock me out

I have been through *** over the last 16 months!! Almost since day 1 I had issues.
They blamed the cold, the heat &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; user error! The device wouldnt register my blow at times. It would say mouth closer? Still cant figure out how its possible to get any closer ?
It would go from mouth closer to blow with a 1 second timer then missed test with no chance to even blow! Sometimes it wouldnt violate . (Which it always does when missing a test) .. but most times it did.
I would call. I was told fill out an incident report & we will get back to you iinin

Removing device
- Freedom to drive with out hassle

Impossible to get the removal done
- When you get it removed- if that ever happens
- Everything is bad
Preferred solution: I want them to find me a garage, open the email the dmv sent and take back this equipment. You know there job it’s been a month and I have already had to pay for $88 for a calibration I should not have need.
User's recommendation: Do drink and drive but do not deal with this place either or u will be stranded anytime there is a malfunction or apparently if your not paying your bill
